Hello lovely writers! I'm Noelle Zaria (coincidentally my penname too Wink), though some of you may know me as E.C. Dahlia from the Writer's Draft. I've been writing on a very non-serious level for about four years, but I'm finally starting to buckle down with my MS Phantasmagoria. I'd go into more detail here, but I'm sure you'll get it elsewhere on the forum. Let's see... I've just started a mentorship with an agent/writer who's helped me to polish my novel and develop it further. Hopefully we'll be starting queries soon! With that said, I'm going to go have a look around the forum.

Oo! Welcome to the forum! We're happy to have insight from someone at the stage you're at - that's the next phase I'll be in when I finish off the novel and finish my self-editing. How do you find a mentor like that? Is it someone you already knew, or did you seek him/her out because of their status as agent/writer? I'm curious to know more - and welcome to the forum! I'm Ren, one of the friendly moderators. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a PM. I'm friendly!

<3 Ren

Welcome to the forum Noelle! Nice to have you and I can't wait to hear more about your novel. Also, it's way cool that you are at the stage where you can work with a mentor like that! Good luck!

I only wish I was finished with my first draft! Wink Well, through my school they have an extracirricular program in which you choose a profession to learn more about. I naturally chose writing and they assigned me my mentor. I didn't know I'd be getting an agent as well as an author for a mentor. But it's been an amazing experience! We're going to start queries in a few weeks, which I think is odd- again, haven't finished my novel. But she says you need to shop around to see if anyone is interested first. *shrugs* She's the expert!

You can still call me EC if you want, emily. I was going to post that earlier, but I guess it got left out. Whoops.

Well, hey! Glad you dropped in and joined up! I'm Novel (but you knew that) and I've actually achieved mod status on this happy little forum (woot!). So go ahead and PM me if you need anything.

Oh, and I didn't comment on the Draft, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE your book trailer. I seriously wish I could do that.
