| Hey everyone, I've been reading the forums for a while now so thought I should say hi! I'm Mark, I've been working on a novel for a few months now, finally reaching THE END (my favourite words to type!) last month. The story is a psycho-thriller about a cosmetic surgeon who wants to create the perfect body. I could go into it more but that pretty much says what you need to know. It deals with issues of beauty, love, death, transcience of life, celebrity, subjectivity. If you know Keats' Grecian Urn then the ideas of forever being beautiful but never being real are fairly important. I also write a blog about food and beer and I've just posted a little something about my experience of writing the first draft of my story.
