Here are some photos I've been recently working on that I took. Some are older pictures but am just getting to working on them now that I have a bit more time.

Oh wow! Those are pretty! Is that you in the top pictures? I LOVE the dress. I want one. Beautiful gown, and I love the overall pictures - the framing was done really well. Will you post more?

Nope, not me in the dress. That was actually the first bridal portrait shoot I did back in 2006.

As soon as I work on some more photos, I will definitely post them. I did actually post a couple in the working titles/covers page. They are pictures of a dancer but I used them for a couple of my story covers.

Thanks you guys. I will see what else I have. I didn't really artsy with a bunch of them. That bride I posted pictures of really did more modeling than anything else. I think I might try to get my little sister to do some modeling so I can play with contrast, mood, etc. I got my little brother and his friends to do some for me last fall, but I need more to work with.

Thanks! I'm excited now about my photography because at our family reunions on my dad's side we do a sort of "auction/raffle" where people buy tickets and vie for the items you bring. I'm going to do some stuff with my landscape/building photos and take them.

You have a great eye for pictures!

Have you ever just gone for a random walk and taken pictures of things that you find interesting? I'm sure those would be just as good! Posed pictures can only go so far, you know?

Like the sunset and the temple, those are amazingly well done, very impressive!

Thanks! Yeah, I usually go around with my camera. I actually have some floral pics of my mother-in-laws garden I'm currently working on. I have a billion other photos that I'm editing too. It's like writing--always editing even while you're creating. I'm thinking once we buy our house and move, I'm going to try and do some photo illustrations for some fairytale stories. If I can get more people to model for me for free, then I'll probably do some photo illustrations for some of my stories as well.

That sounds great ^^

You have a great eye, and you capture things well.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and to me a good one is worth a story!

If you post more, i can't wait to see them, personally ^^

Thanks Akurei. I love photography. And just like writing it took a lot of practice to find that "eye" and to really break out of my comfort zone.

I also posted up a few other ones I've been working on.

The majority of the pictures were taken with a SLR Pentax 35MM. Just a normal (50) lens. Other were done with my Canon Powershot AS650 12 mp camera. I love that digital camera. I can get the same shots with it as I do with my Pentax 35MM. And as soon as I can afford it, my Powershot (has a neat little trick for a point and shoot camera). It does all the AV/TV/M settings I want and when I am bored and don't want to figure stuff out at that moment, I use the "auto" setting (I know bad of me *slaps wrist*). Anyway, my digital can actually get a telephoto lens attached to it separately. It's basically a mini version of a SLR.

Thanks you guys on those pictures. I like them too. Smile

^^ don't slap your wrist, just because it's auto, doesn't mean your not good at it so it's the same talent behind the photo!

Hahaha Akurei. The slapping wrist move is actually something we would do in my advanced photography courses in college. It's more of a "mind" control to make us realize that we have more potential than letting the camera do the work for us. We>Camera Technology ideal. Just more of an inside joke I tend to let slip once in a while.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I have a Canon Rebel XTI DSLR but I mostly have thousands of pictures of my kids. Very Happy I've been looking for a nice point and shoot to carry around with me. The DSLR is a bit of a pain to lug everywhere.

Yeah, the DSLR's get in the way when you just want cute pics of your kids at that moment. I like my point and shoot a lot. Cost me $400 from Costco and came with a printer. I don't know if they have that deal anymore though--if you have a card for Costco, check out their selection. They usually have the best deals on great cameras.

I got my digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix S360. It has a 7x zoom, plus macro. I can zoom in and it will still be clear. <3 It's amazing and I love it. @_@ But I use auto too. >_>; The only time I change the option is when I go inside or when I want to change the color. My bad. xD

Your pictures are so awesome, Gobble! <3 I guess it doesn't matter what camera you have--it's the photographer that captures the photo in a way, not the camera.
