| What burning questions do you have to ask published authors? We've got a couple of interviews coming up on the Book Bundle, and I'd love some input into what to ask. Will Lavender, author of 'Obedience' (a brilliant crime novel) has just confirmed that he'll be delighted to do an interview with us.
I just feel kind of stuck coming up with questions by myself, and I thought you guys would probably have some burning questions that I wouldn't think of.
So, my question for you is, if you had the chance to ask published authors anything, what would it be? And, do you have any other suggestions of questions I can ask authors for the interviews?

| Wow Daeonica - this is brillaint! well done! Well i guess, 'when/how did they decide that writing was for them?' 'Have they ever had doubts about or trouble getting published? and how did they over come them?' 'Are they outliners or 'fly by their pants' writers? (reword that better ) How many drafts did they do before they started subbing them? Do they have beta readers? | |

| Well, I sent him the questions just now, so we'll see how it goes! If he gets them back to me fairly quickly, I think I'll post it next Monday or Tuesday.
Does anyone else have questions they are dying to ask people? Also, who would you like to read an interview with?

| Hi, great thread idea! I second all of Emily's questions... and here are some more I always feel curious about (not to bombard the poor author, of course!): What genre do they read (is it the genre that they write in?) Did they make any rookie mistakes when submitting? Did they query widely or target specific agencies? Which character from their book is their favorite/or was the most fun to write. I think that's it for now, I can't wait to read the interview | |

| Hi guys, I just heard back from another great author who's willing to do an interview! Jaye Wells, author of Red-Headed Stepchild!
So, once again any question you have for me to pass on would be great! I'll also add in some of the ones you've already put here.

Actually, I think the agent is Jonathan Lyons: http://lyonsliterary.blogspot.com/ - emilycross wrote:

Lol! Thanks Mostly I just ask nicely I've included some of the questions from here, I don't want to give too many though. I've got about 8, so there's room for long answers. PS, I love the halloween layout!
