| I updated both blogs yesterday and posted my complete playlist on the writing blog earlier today. I'll probably be updating the webside with a page for The Enigma later on this weekend, if I can find the time. | |

- I like Google's blogger. I tried wordpress, but google's seems to have a lot more customizable stuff with the layout. So if you're a graphics nerd like me, then I'd recommend that. If you like presets that you can make minor tweaks to, then you can try wordpress. Hope that helps a little! I don't know a whole lot about blogging either. I just started mine a couple months agp and haven't updated lately. Maybe I'll do that this evening...
<3 Ren This might be a stupid question but is blogger google's blog? I know absolutely nothing about blogging.

| I'm the blog nut here lol. If you go here and set up an account (you may have set up gmail/google account) - you can start it's very simple! Just follow the steps Here are my three blogs The chronicles of emily cross which is a personal diary/writing sort of blog The Book Bundle which is a book review site - and any one interested in being a team member let me know The writer's chronicle online resource for writers. If when your setting up your template (yuou'll know what i mean when your setting up) pick 'minima' and you can go to this website and get code (like you would in myspace) for cool background. hope this helps, let me know if need anything else | |

| I'm a livejournal person, really.
I think it's a lot more sociable than blogger. You create a list of friends who also have livejournal blogs, and you can read all their things - the new posts come up on your friends page. You can also have communities on there - and those updates also show in the friends list. It's far more talking to people than just writing a diary, which can be a bit like yelling into the wind - no one is going to hear you. With lj, you build up these friendships, and for me it's like having a support network of people that I can trust with issues going on in my life, and get help with a huge variety of things.

| I don't blog much for writing. I do have a site set up at 110mb, I really like it because it looks like a site without the adds. The site is: http://andreadavis.110mb.com/I do have a blog on live journal that is set for friends only, but it's more about my life with occasional things on writing. That's also where I share my written stories. I also have a family website, but again that's not at all related to writing. Although, I do help Epona on the Book Bundle blog! | |

| I have two blogs. A writing blog and a personal blog. You're welcome to follow my writing blog at The Innocent FlowerI don't advertise my personal blog because, well, it's personal. If I get to know you pretty well, I'll send you the link. It's just where I can post about my family and religion, and stuff, and I like to keep that part of me separate from writing. Professional vs. Personal - how do you feel about that? Do you think it's important to separate the two? | |

| One of the people I know who is a good friend on lj, and has been my writing mentor for the past year, had some big changes in his blog just the other week because he was having trouble with the personal vs. professional thing. He's an editor, so has recently had a lot of people he knows through that circle start reading his blog, and felt uncomfortable with sharing some personal things with them, and at the same time unhappy because the friends he's had for years were losing the posts about what made him him, ie, his family, the kind of things he's up to in his life, etc. His solution was to split into two separate blogs, and professional one and a more personal one.
I agree with that - I think it can be quite important to have a good distinction between the two.

| Thanks for your help everyone! I guess blogger is looking like the best choice right now, although I do like the look of the 110mb one. Hmm, I guess I'll just have to go around and play with some of them! | |

| I am consistently trying to update my blog with fun stuff and useful tools for other writers. I recently put a few synopsis' on there for books I already have under contract. I sort of wanted to put some information about my new projects, to get readers interested. I have a summary for two projects, do you think that's safe to put on there? | |

| Well its up to you, i guess it depends on how much your giving away - is it a sequel to your current book? You can give a synopsis without giving too much away or maybe have a catching paragraph as an excerpt or a kinda cliffhanger phrase to entice people. | |

| No, not a sequel. One is an overall synopsis for a trilogy and the other is a snippet for a new project I am working on. I really think it's an intriguing bit that might draw people in (particularly because it may possibly be a crossover book), however the idea is pretty unique and I feel sort of protective of it. Maybe I should wait? | |
