| Greetings, all! This is Novel from the Writer's Draft. For those of you who don't already know me, my name is Jenna and I'm currently trying to get my first book, The Surface of the Deep, published. I'm working on another one, called The Enigma. I saw Emily's link on her blog and I figured, what the hey, why not? So here I am. A little bit about me: I love the color purple, all forms of pie, and I'm just a touch insane. I live in south Mississippi -- I moved here from Florida back in 2006. I've developed an accent and I honestly can't stand it. My friends deliberately talk in extra-thick accents when I'm around just so it all rubs off on me. Don't you just love friends?  I've been writing for a good long while, but I really picked up back in May of '08, when I joined The Writer's Draft. It picked up even more durning October of the same year, when I was gearing up for NaNoWriMo.  I am in constant competition with my English teacher, Mr. K, and will often go off into little side rants. He's writing a book, too, and I'm so petty that I feel the need to one-up him every chance I get.  Umm....what else, what else... Oh, yes. I am notorious for making uber-long playlists for my projects. The music ranges from everything to movie soundtracks to Enya to Slayer. I'd have to say that my top five favorite bands are Depeche Mode, Nightwish, Skillet, Lacuna Coil and Katatonia. Opeth just barely misses the list, coming in at number six. My dad's in a metal band, so I've kind of developed a taste for really heavy stuff... That's all I can think of for now. You'll get to know me, because if this site is ANYTHING like the Draft, I'll be here almost 24/7/365. Ta for now,  Novel | |

| Yep yep, a metal band. They're called Hannover Fiste. They're kind of scattered right now and haven't played a gig in forever, but they do have a vid on YouTube (crappy picture quality, but still awesome). Linkage, linkage! My dad's on guitar. The one singing and playing bass is my "uncle" (we're not actually related, but our familes are close) Paul, called Paulie or Pablo Uno. On drums is Paul (called Pablo Dos). Yeah, purple is SO amazing. The color of royalty!  | |
