Any fans here of Charlaine Harris? She has the Aurora Teagarden Series, the Lily Bard (Shakespeare) Series, the Sookie Stackhouse (Southern Vampire) Series, and the Harper Connelly Series.

I've only ever read the Southern Vampire series, but I think she is a fantastic writer. Her series are so addcting, and very fun to read.

I've read the first 4 ( I think) of the Sookie series. I'm planning on reading the others in that series, but I read them so quickly that it's not worth paying the same amount for one of them as I might for a book several hundred pages longer.

But, I like them.

I am entirely addicted to the Sookie Stackhouse collection. I feel like they're almost real people (creepy, eh?). I'm working on locating all the short fiction (I just read "Dancers in the Dark" in the Night's Edge novella collection, and I have Unusual Suspects on order from the library!)

I've also read the first 2 of the Harper Connelly series, but I will read more! They're still well done. The other series' don't appeal to me as much since they aren't supernatural! (And I do love supernatural)

I read part of the first Sookie Stackhouse book, but never finished. I got sidetracked...and then lost my mom's copy of the book. Embarassed

I'm sort of annoyed. Charlaine Harris was IN MY CITY signing books (along with all the other famous Mississippi area writers. I'm almost positive John Grisham was around, too) and I MISSED IT!!! GAAAAAAAAAH!!!

I read the first Sookie Stackhouse book recently, but I haven't been able to get into the second one yet. It might have been my mood when I picked it up though. I enjoyed the first one but it's not a book I would ever rave about.
