Oh, yes! Muwahahahahahahahhahahaaaa, in your face, Mr. Kirby.

Ah. I know I rag on him a lot, but Mr. Kirby is awesome. He's my friendly rival on normal to good days but my archenemy when I'm in a bad mood. I think I've told you guys that before. But he's awesome -- he gave me a writing magazine, and I think I'm going to get a subscription to it now. He's also helping me look for writing contests.
He actually has his first rejection letter framed and hanging up in his classroom. AND he has a Shakespeare action figure. That makes him cool.

Anyway...another YAY is that I have a whole list of articles that I'm going to write this weekend. Also, my package from Vampfangs.com got here today, along with a late birthday present from one of my mom's friends. Today is a good day all around! Razz

I'm working on my story again! I went through the first chapter that I shared on here and found lots of hideous grammar errors and all the inconsistencies I hadn't really paid attention to in the past. I tend to be one of those people who really get caught up in the story so typing errors never stand out while I'm writing.

ok so i was very 'grumble grumble' lately because i had to spend some of my reading week doing an additional course (optional but i'm a masochist) in psychometric testing - i thought i'd be getting a certificate to ADMINISTER personality tests BUT this was only a sort of intro course. anyhooo we had to do a jung type indicator (personality test) to just have a gander out. and guess WHAT!!?!? apart from me getting personalised personality test feedback, we got the booklet with all the results so, when i do an online personality test for my characters i can look up really specific details in this handbook!?!!?

aw it was worth it for that alone Very Happy

My big yipee is that I'm FINALLY freaking done with school. For the year, anyway. This summer'll be busy, but I'm going to have a LOT of extra writing time. Which is always a plus. Razz

My big YAY for today is that I had a dream last night completely revolving around The Surface of the Deep. It was straight story, like somebody'd made it into a movie. It ROCKED. Very Happy

I also worked through a minor plot snare with The Enigma earlier today. It just kind of clicked into place and now I can get working on that again.

I'm writing again! After a several month break I have started writing a small amount each day. I do want to pick up the other story I had started before the break, but I don't have the energy to track the plot of a 40+ page story right now. Hopefully I'll pick it up sometime after the baby is born. Like say when he's sleeping better and I have more time. But I'm enjoying this story a lot!

Thanks guys!

I'm going next week for Writing and Art.

Writing is going to be in contact with many authors who are coming in to speak with the class. we are going to be writing short stories, plays, poems, epic stories, and scrips

Art is a special environmental art class.we make our own paper and materials and then work on something that is naturalistic, we're also going to meet some artist in the art museums around northern Ohio ^^

it sounds fun to me i can't wait!!!
