This is possible one of the most wonderful books i've ever read - i could only wish to be able to write such a touching, emotional and well written novel. Purely fabulous.

Anyone else gushing over this masterpiece?

I really liked this book too. It was sent to the bookstore I used to work at as 'young adult fiction' but after reading it, I placed it on the adult fiction shelf too. People of all ages should try this book out! I was happily shocked that I liked the voice of the Grim Reaper... Shocked

Just finished reading it. Loved it, what a book! I'd bought it only because I liked the cover and the blurb and had my apprehensions. But wow!

At the risk of giving away spoilers, I loved the pages which mentioned the Part and what each part featured. They just made you want to read more. I also loved the part about colours.

Anyway, not giving away more!

This is so wierd! I went to a small bookstore yesterday and Book Thief was on the shelf, "Children's Fiction Ages 9-14." I really don't think the average 9-year old would like it. Or even that it would be suitable for that age.

No, its definitely one of those books that although children could read it, i don't think they'd be able to get the WHOLE picture. as soon as i get some time i want to read his other books - i've heard the messenger is amazing as well.

Spoiler:

Just such a beautiful book
