About myself
I started writng at a fairly advanced age. Having picked up a pen, I found myself unable to put it down again. Within 6 months of this revelation, I was fortunate enough to be offered a 3 book deal with a publisher specialising in crime fiction. Progress since then has been taking its time on the publishing front, but the writing continues to flow. I'm now seeking an agent. I seem to follow the traditional path backwards but as yet have discovered neither rhyme nor reason in this new world I've entered. In my other life, I'm a school teacher and unreservedly conventional - on the outside. (outside world or persona?)

My writing
I write crime fiction! exclamation mark denoting exuberance! My work has been described as "seriously creepy gripping psychological thrillers". I'm also writing for children and am hoping to find a publisher for this series... does lightning strike twice? I hope so!

Welcome to the board and thank you so much for dropping in and joining. Congrats on the first book, it sounds amazing. I read the synopsis on your site (excellent btw) - i'm really intriqued! your article is really good int he magazine - i'm also a fan of Ian McEwan.

Its great to have you here, many of us are in the process of getting published so we'll all be asking for your advice and wisdom!
