The World of Poets Empty

Know the title of every emily dickinson poem (and i'm not talking about the numbers) or love the poetry of Robert Frost?

This is the place to express and discuss your love (and maybe dislike) for particular poets, alive and dead

I don't know if you guys have read Seamus Heaney, but we did a section on him senior year of high school, and I very much appreciated his style of writing. It takes a whole lot to get me into poetry, but I dove headfirst into Heaney and loved it.

My friend meet sheamus Heaney cause her friend is a niece of his or something (ireland is small place!) I did his poetry for my final exams in secondary (high school) his poetry is excellent - i love it. He's like the number one living irish poet.

Is there any poem in particular you liked? you can post it if you here if you want - i always liked the poem 'skunk'

I'm more of a fan of dark poetry like emily dickinson, christina rosetti and elizabeth barrett browning.

Sure, I'll paste a couple of my favorite poems in the other sections. I learned a lot from my section on poetry in AP English Lit in high school.
