Does anyone have suggestions for a good book to read? Either middle-grade or young adult? Thanks!

Let's see:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (2nd book comes out in September)
The Midnighter Trilogy by Scott Westerfeld (3 books, obviously)
The Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare (3 books--again, obvious)
The Giver by Lois Lowry
The Inkheart Trilogy by Cornelia Funke (again obviously 3 books)
The Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE! THEY ARE FUN!) (4 books so far and the 5th and final installment will come out next year--he's also written The Candy Shop Wars and a children's book coming out called Pingo)

Hope that helps.

Finished Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian. Normally I don't read much of MG fantasy, especially ones with a prophecy, as Emily says, but this one ended the series really well. I recommend it Smile

I personally must say that Goddess of Yesterday is a great novel to read. I don't have it on me so i don't know the author but i do know it's an amazing read!

Is it by Caroline Cooney? I googled it and read the review. Now to read the book itself.

Anything by Madeleine L'Engle are great YA stories. I think I might need a new copy of A Wrinkle in Time I've read it so much.

Two good books were The Truth About Forever and Grace. They're both YA and amazing. <3

For MGs, I suggest William Corlett's The Magician's House Quartet. The four books are:
The Steps up the Chimney
The Door in the Tree
The Tunnel behind the Waterfall
The Bridge in the Clouds
