I've got a new blog post about dealing with clueless criticism. "Everybody's a Critic"at http://annerallen.blogspot.com/ Come on by and leave a comment. Anybody ever had some non-writer friend ask to read your WIP and trash it?

I have, actually. A couple of friends and teachers once trashed a non-fiction article I wrote. They were merciless about it and I was on the verge of tearing it up. And you know what? IT GOT PUBLISHED!

However, blogspot won't let me comment on your blog (a weird glitch) but I have added myself to your blog's followers Smile

ReNu, thanks for following. I think it's easier to post a comment now, although I find I usually have to ask twice before they'll let even me in.

OK, Our Beloved Leader let me know I was being very uncool posting new threads all the time when they're all about one thing--my publishing blog. I’m amazingly ignorant about forums, but I do actually know something about the publishing biz.

Because I seem to have used up all my creativity and brain cells trying to master the art of blogging, I just call it ANNE R. ALLEN'S BLOG. There’s some helpful stuff in there. Really.

Here are links to the archives, as well as I can put them together. I don't know if I can make the links live. I tried to go through the little link icon, but it kept putting the links at the end of the post. You have no idea how hard this stuff is for old people.

Here are some Oldies but Goodies, going back to July :

There's a new genre in town! "New Adult" fiction. Do you write it? http://annerallen.blogspot.com/2009/11/do-you-write-new-adult-fiction.html
