Well I guess I don't have to say I new to this site, you can probably tell by the words above.
I very happy to find a site for writers. I think only another writer can understand what we go through. I know I have bestsellers in my hands, but I'm not Paris Hilton, I didn't have sex with a student, and I don't have 8 babies.
I hate the process of Query Letters, Synopsis, and just getting in the slush pile anyway. SO, I self published my 1st book last year. It is "Stand and Protect" the first novel in a planned series. I'm about to publish the second one, "Nico's Guilt" and luckily, I'm pretty good at marketing.
My website is KT-Banks.com and we have 3 video's, a blog, Members, Prizes and Products, Book Reviews, and excerpts from 4 different manuscripts. My husband sometimes help me write, he's better at the fight scenes and the car chases and Manly stuff. Plus if someone doesn't like something, I can blame it on him. LOL I guess I should mention they are Thriller novels.
It's a long story, but we are in talks with people in LA about making the books into Commercial Box Office Movies. There is a very good screen writer writing the screenplay for "Stand and Protect" as we speak. However, I've been in dealings with the people In Hollywood since Nov. '08 and I already know it's a game of Hurry Up and Wait.
We also write Magazine Articles, and build websites for other people.
