Online children's writing workshop - starts July 19th

Oisin McGann will be teaching an online writing for children course, which starts on Monday, 19th of July and runs for 6 weeks. It costs £160.00 and includes Oisin's feedback on work submitted by students. Places are limited to 12.

The course will cover the basics of storytelling and the specific aspects of writing for children and young adults. Areas that will be looked at include: how to generate ideas; how to use observation; description of both character and setting; using dialogue and ensuring a good pace and plot, as well as how to tailor your writing for different age groups. Oisin will also be giving tips on how to get published, and how to market your books once you get published. All modules will be delivered by email, so all you need is internet access.
