| I don't know if anyone else follows the Shooting Stars blog, but Suzette Saxton just landed agent Brenden Deenen at Fine Print Literary! A while ago I accidentally confused her and her sister, Bethany Wiggins, who both blog at Shooting Stars. Bethany Wiggins landed an agent at Trident and both of them are super nice. Anyway, yipee and yahoo! | |

| Woke up this morning with a great urban fantasy vampire story! Completely saturated market, but this feels like a 'fun' rather than a complex 'deep' story so should be fun and maybe get me over WB! | |

| That's great Emily!
And, I don't think it's a saturated market. People are still reading more and more vampire stories. I think it might slow down soon, but urban fantasy has strongly established itself as a genre now - I think it might ebb and flow sometimes, but it's going to be around for a while.

| Sometime this week I'm hoping to hit page 250 on my WIP. I slowed down a lot this summer, seems like I was on the go every weekend, plus I've been spending quite a bit of time helping with my grandson who was born 6 months ago today, but now I'm feeling like I should be able to start devoting more time to my writing again. So, I'd say that's a Yipee! | |

Yeah, but in her mind and the way it's written it will look like both sides are neither good or bad! I'll send it to you when I'm done. But it's still in the beginning right now. I haven't worked on it for so long I'm having to go through and remember what characters do what. It's so frustrating. I wish I took better notes.
