| Ok, there are some seriously talented people here with some fabulous book covers - some i've seen before (novel) others which i have only seen now (SD) so i decided i'd start this fun non writing graphic thread. Feel free to post more than book covers - like banners etc. too. - well i came up with the title of my WIP (cause i couldn't call it The NoName Novel forever) after i had a chat with some online ladies from the Writer's draft about my commitment issues with this novel So with some suggestions i came up with 'Sight of Darkness' and then proceeded to go nuts with book cover graphics and banners - rather than, you know actually write the book aw procrastination is my middle name! Anyhoo, here is a view of the covers i came up with. and i've come up with the title for the sequel of SoD which is Sword of Blood (again it might help my writing career to actually finish chapter 1 of the first book) And my favourite (and ode to my inner goth lol) | |

| Oh my goodness! Emilycross and Novel you guys are amazing! Right now I'm calling one of my stories Only in my Dreams. It's about a girl who has her boyfriend die in a car crash and when she falls asleep that night he ends up being in her dream, and they soon realize that they can speak to each other like he's still alive(which he is in a way). I can't really explain it very well. And the other is called The Forest of Guadhashia right now, but could change. And I would show you my sample covers but I have no idea how to link in the text. LOL. Can anyone help? | |

| Nice for you guys. I haven't yet thought of a title for my current work, because I'm quite concerned it may affect the rest of the story. I love the last cover too Emily. She's really pretty. I'd want to have a model for my cover too, when the time comes. Hope it's sooner. | |

| Wow, those are so cool! I have to admit, i'm a photoshop drop out...my bro in law runs my websites and stuff for me.
But...
FORESIGHT is my first novel and it's part of a trilogy. the next two are
Second Sight and Hindsight
is that too corny? | |

| My working title for my current WIP is 'Dangerous Dances'
I wanted something that kind of catches the imagination, and is fairly easy to remember.
It comes from the fact that my character is walking some narrow lines between various things she's trying to do/not do, and kind of trying to balance everything? Also, she's kind of dancing with danger in some places, through her interactions with the vampires, and there is her relationship with a vampire too - she's literally 'kissing danger' in some places.

is that too corny? *Raises hand* I dropped out of Photoshop school, as well. I use Lunapic online ( www.lunapic.com).And nah, those titels aren't corny.

| That's a really really awesome cover. The only thing that doesn't work is the font color -- it's almost too dark to read. I do love the cover overall, though! | |

Yeah, I originally had it red, but I thought it looked weird so I changed to black. You're right it is really dark. LOL! Maybe I'll try to make a brighter one. It looks really depressing but the story isn't horribly sad or anything.

| I have a title AND a cover! It took me...*checks clock*...three and a half hours to get both of them down, but I did. I don't like the cover, really. I mean, I like it, but I don't like it for this particular story. But they'll get better... | |
